CLOSE & DEEP

RELATIONSHIPS

LUCUMA has maintained its transparency by developing a business based on close, long term relationships. We know exactly where our garments are being made. We do not use agents or outsourcing. We take responsibility for the whole supply chain.

HUMAN RIGHTS

It is our responsibility to make sure that everybody who works with a LUCUMA product, does so in a fair, safe, non-discriminatory and empowering workplace.

Human rights are always present as a layer in our business model, our decision-making and the way we create and share values. LUCUMA is constantly looking for dialogue and improvements.

This is why we work directly with handcrafters in Peru - to ensure that their rights are respected and that we are able to commit their requirements.

SUSTAINABILITY

Lucuma is committed to sustainability. This is why we decided to start our journey with products made from wool, which is one of the most environmental friendly materials.

We are committed to preserve traditional weaving techniques, giving more work to women to achieve equal opportunities and helping with the economic growth and stability of our weavers.

We are also conscious of climate change, pollution and other environmental factors that harm and do harm to people's health, livelihoods and lives. That is why we closely monitor each of our processes.

We manufacture your garments in a small scale and in a sustainable way.
